Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn Movies

I think the Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn books send a terrible message to young women. We have a very popular series in which the heroine 17 years is literally giving up his life of a child! She ditches her friends, then abandons her, and when he finally arrives in their friends and come back over his depression, he turns and ditches all over again. I know it is a work of fiction, but I just hope that parents are reading these books and discuss with their daughters that love need not be all consumers, and that a girl does not, and should not totally abandon until she is for a boy.

No disrespect to this post, but I’m so tired of hearing (or reading) about Bella and Edward being in an unhealthy relationship. I understand, yes, they are codependent, etc. but, if it pretends to be something, is escapism. They are vampires and werewolves. Naturally, critique and analyze what we read, and try to put ourselves in that situation (ie, how we handle it?), But frankly, it’s at the point where we’re trying to be real. Look at Romeo and Juliet, for crying out loud, one of the deepest and most well known, and stories of romantic love (and of course referred to in the Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn series) and their relationship can not be healthier. It is a story, and not always be brought to the point of saying that the characters are wrong in what they are doing – is the story of his. Take it as is.

I think the opposite. Yes, she is a little co-dependent, at times, but for me, Edward is the kind of person we want our daughters to be. He puts his happiness and security. How many guys out there really that? Sacrificing her own happiness for the baby? I love to marry before having sex. Yes, they are young, very young, but that is irrelevant when you see most of the books and showing 12 and 13 years of age children having sex outside marriage. In addition, the book shows how many times Bella being the adult in his relationship with his mother. To use Edward’s perspective, human life was at a time when marriage is considered at that age. Another point, depression in NM should be examined more figuratively. Whether or not we close, literally, for three months, anyone who has experienced the anguish known figurative sense of what Meyer describes. We feel that even if they do not. That was his point. Moreover, the point of the whole series is how Bella becomes power. The cover of the latest Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn book proves it.

I must say that I was not too happy with the way Bella was represented at the New Moon. In the book, after Edward leaves her, she loses the reality and stop talking to friends and family for months! His briefly in the film, but is drawn into Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn book. I was worried thinking that these girls are there reading this, thinking this is what happens when love is lost. That life is over and the only way to turn it is to find a new love. Sorry, but I would have liked to have seen Bella not be as weak as it was portrayed in the book. I think it sets a bad example for girls who can not live without a man in your life.

In fact, both Twilight Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Edward Bella asks to go to college instead of being transformed into a vampire. Besides, all vampires received his post degress be changed, so Bella has now forever to get what he wants degrees. You can try to make this a “Bella is weak, and Edward controlled his” thing if you want, but part of the story, showing how fragile it is awkward for the first 3 books, and then ends up being the rock and savior of the whole family at the end. Get over yourself and read the whole damn story!

Because I had an education, writing books, and LDS also never drank, so that at least he was sober when he wrote it. I know your trying to be sarcastic crisp, but in reality the Bible was written long ago by people who had no idea what education was and that he had no drinking water so they had to drink wine.

Disclosure: I’ve never read Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn and really do not understand the hype behind it. From what I hear is not right to read and (seemingly) limit of the anti-feminist. But Melissa makes a good point. I’ve been a player all my life and always bothered me then the number of groups trying to ban “violent” video games, as young men (and it is mostly men who play these games) immediately run out and try to beat a prostitute or the slaughter of the next alien horde invades. I always found it very condescending, especially during my teenage years, when I thought I knew more than anyone. The tone of these posts and comments resulting Twilight strikes a similar note in my mind. They are the people who write these articles implying that young women are unable to distinguish fact from fiction and try to emulate the style just Bella and they will shape his entire life after that? He never tried to live life just like a character in Grand Theft Auto or to the case of Batman. I agree discussion is important, but that discussion should not be parent-child relationship between the child and writer. Count me as a non-fan who has more faith in the ability of decision of the girls.

I think it’s a matter of how we choose to look at books – pure entertainment or role models for adolescents. I have read the books and it seems to be a bit maybe, but I can see how teens embrace and become obsessed with books. But we are giving children too little attention to imagine approaching the books as something more than wish fulfillment? Perhaps it is the desire that we want for them as parents or role models, but we can not say the same for girls running in the Disney princess costumes? While I am not a fan of his writing, I sincerely believe that Meyer was approaching this level of pure fantasy, not the “will this be harmful to youth” perspective. I mean, if you do not want your children to be influenced by things like this (and to be clear, I can not condone the manner of writing Bella.), Then more of a presence in their lives and show them that there is more to life than being the leading lady of a vampire and a werewolf, or whatever. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the book to help children know their own minds.

In fact, Bella does not need protection, as the series progresses to find protection against the Volturi and amazing all who had the power to make all the time, she only had to adjust to it. I think that’s a beautiful thing to teach girls, and any woman! We are constantly doubting ourselves. It’s good to have a story where men are manly, take care of you when needed, but ultimately we can kick some chicks in boots and take some names!

I wonder if it was not so much a matter of weak character Bella if I wanted an abortion and Edward had wanted the child? I’m a little concerned about people who think they want to have your child means that sets back women than fifty years. I thought the point is that was the election of women. If you agree with his choice or not is still yours to make and do not think he does something less, because I wanted to take the risks. I felt that the response of Edward was a good … I was worried about his health above all. It is ultimately your choice, however, and was entitled to do. It’s a bit ironic that a woman say that we have the right to make the decision, but only if you agree with me that the election is invalid. The complaint seems to be that controls the life of Edward Bella, but when you do not agree with him, seem to be saying he should have done what I wanted. You can not have both.

Technically, Jacob rescuing Bella several times in the Twilight New Moon, though she did not go find Edward. But then, this is what bothered me, it just takes Edward back. “I can not believe I left a **” … that can only lead lap. I think a strong girl she would work for it. And I do not remember anyone save Bella in Eclipse, although some time has passed. My real problem with Bella is that her whole life revolves around Edward, drops all his friends and almost does not consider how your family would feel if he becomes a vampire. Obviously, she is just a character in Twilight New Moon Eclipse Breaking Dawn and no one will face what he does, but I can see that there is some concern.
